Finding us is easy

Empire Mine State Historic Park is located in the heart of the gold country. Our address is 10791 East Empire Street, Grass Valley, California 95945

The Park is located on Empire Street, a well-marked exit on Route 49. Travelers from Southern California or the Bay Area should take Route 80, and pick up Route 49 North in Auburn. Travelers from Nevada and the East should take Route 80, and exit on Route 20 which becomes Route 20/49 in Nevada City. Visitors coming from Marysville via Route 20 are advised to pass over Route 49 and continue straight on Empire Street (25 mph), which will take you directly to the Park. The parking area is clearly marked.
